I purchased some family tree software and began loading the limited facts I knew about my family. Next, I began searching online for information. It did not take long to realize that the Internet was a gold mine of genealogical information and resources. I was also surprised to discover just how many details are readily available, but difficult to find. So, I built this blog to serve as a "one stop shop" for all things "Clasgens".

I am now digging deeper into some of the traditional genealogical resources available in the public libraries (e.g., microfilms, local history books, cemetery records, etc.) and through local genealogical societies.

I am fascinated by some of the things I am discovering. My goal is to continually expand the family tree and publish as much of my findings to this blog as they become available.

I hope you find this site enjoyable and informative.
